To ensure optimal airflow, all ceiling fans should be installed with the bottom of the blades at least 2.1 meters from the floor and at least 300mm from the ceiling. If your ceilings exceed 2.7 meters (9 feet), an extension downrod is necessary to achieve the ideal mounting height for your fan.
